Device Management

Device management is useful when you switch devices, lose a device, or want to review your sync status. It answers the question: which devices are associated with this account.

If you no longer use an old computer, first confirm that your new device has all the data you need, then handle the old device. This is safer than deleting while migrating.

| Your situation | What to check first | Next step | | --- | --- | --- | | You don’t know where to start | The page title and main entry points | Pick only the item related to your current goal | | The result after an action seems wrong | Status, empty prompts, access logs, or sync progress | Go back one level and troubleshoot step by step | | You’re worried about affecting data | Backup, sync, account, or permissions documentation | Stop first, confirm the scope, then continue |

The device list is not a daily task list. You only need to focus on it when you are switching devices, troubleshooting sync, or reviewing account security.

After reading this section, go back to the task you were working on and pick just one small action to continue: record an input, check a status, or open a relevant setting to complete a confirmation.
