Settings Overview
The settings page might seem like something only advanced users need. In fact, it’s more like a toolbox—you don’t need to open everything at once, but when you run into issues with accounts, sync, data, AI, or desktop connections, it’s good to know where to find the right tool.
A Real Scenario
Section titled “A Real Scenario”For example, when sync goes wrong, you don’t have to search through every page—just go to the accounts, data, or sync-related entry points in Settings.
If you want to find tasks, projects, milestones, cards, and past knowledge by meaning, open Local Semantic Search from Settings. For model details, download size, and precision settings, see Local Semantic Search and Vector Models.
How to Decide What to Do Next
Section titled “How to Decide What to Do Next”| What you’re facing | Check this first | Next step | | --- | --- | --- | | Not sure where to start | The current page title and main entry points | Pick only the item related to your current goal | | Action didn’t give the expected result | Status, empty states, access logs, or sync progress | Go back one level and troubleshoot in order | | Worried about affecting your data | Backup, sync, account, or permissions info | Stop first, confirm the scope, then continue |
Boundaries
Section titled “Boundaries”The most important way to use the settings overview is to first classify the problem, rather than configuring every option one by one.
Next Steps
Section titled “Next Steps”After reading this section, go back to the task you’re working on and pick just one small action to continue: log an input, check a status, or open the relevant settings to do a confirmation.
