Account Deletion

Account deletion is one of the few operations that requires you to slow down. It affects not only the login method, but also syncing, membership benefits, and cloud-related data.

If you just want to sign out of the current device, you usually don’t need to delete your account. If you want to stop using your account, first back up your local data and confirm your membership and sync status.

| Your Situation | What to Check First | Next Step | | --- | --- | --- | | Not sure where to start | The current page title and main entry points | Pick only the one action related to your current goal | | The result after an operation is not what you expected | Status, empty prompts, access logs, or sync progress | Go back one level and troubleshoot in order | | Worried about affecting data | Backup, sync, account, or permission documentation | Stop first, confirm the scope, then proceed |

After reading this section, return to the task you were working on and choose only one minimal action to continue: record one input, check one status, or open the relevant settings to confirm.
