Desktop Installation

The desktop app is the foundation for local use, command line tools, and certain native interfaces. First get the application running properly, then move on to scripts, connections, or advanced settings.

If you’re just reading the manual, you don’t need to install anything. But if you want your local AI or CLI to access GranoFlow, the desktop app must be running.

| Your situation | What to check first | Next step | | --- | --- | --- | | Don’t know where to start | Current page title and main entry point | Select only one item related to your current goal | | Results are wrong after an operation | Status, empty prompts, access logs, or sync progress | Go back one level and troubleshoot in order | | Worried about affecting data | Backup, sync, account, or permissions documentation | Stop first, confirm the scope, then continue |

After installation, first complete a normal startup to confirm the main interface opens, then proceed with configuring the local interface.

After reading this section, return to the task you were working on and choose only one minimal action to continue: record an input, check a status, or open related settings to complete a confirmation.
