Redaction Terms

Redaction terms are suitable for handling names, numbers, or fixed phrases that you often don’t want AI to see. It is not a complete security solution, but it can reduce obvious exposure.

If customer names or project codes frequently appear in your tasks, you can add these terms to the redaction settings before using AI assistance.

| Your Situation | What to Check First | Next Step | | --- | --- | --- | | Not sure where to start | Current page title and main entry points | Select only one item related to your current goal | | Result is incorrect after an operation | Status, empty prompts, access logs, or sync progress | Go back one level and troubleshoot in order | | Worried about impacting data | Backup, sync, account, or permissions documentation | Stop first, confirm the scope, then continue |

After redaction, you still need to review the context. Even if terms are replaced, the context might still reveal meaning.

After reading this section, return to the task you were working on and choose only one minimal action to continue: log an input, check a status, or open the relevant settings to complete a confirmation.
